“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”

The charm of diamonds is undisputed and can only increase with the introduction by Trollbeads of special edition diamonds, exclusively released for various countries of the world. These diamonds are placed next to the classic ones that you can find in the collection.
Their crystal orbs in Italian Murano glass are embedded with 13 cubic zirconias and their color change according to the country. The first in order of appearance is the lilac diamond, exclusively made for Italy in March 2018. The name is not the most appropriate, as the shade of this glass is not really lilac, but rather an intense purple.
Within two years they were released the purple diamond for Japan, the lavender diamond for Germany, the peach pink diamond for China, the amber diamond for the United States, the tiffany-coloured diamond for Taiwan, the grey diamond for Northern European countries, the scarlet red diamond for the United Kingdom, the peach coloured diamond for France and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg), the Victoria Harbour Hong Kong diamond with a beautiful shade of blue, the Evergreen olive green Diamond for Korea and, lastly, the Fairy Flamingo Diamond for Vietnam, of a beautiful caramel colour.
Twelve diamonds for twelve countries. Will there be a thirteenth diamond? Which country will it touch? The big absentee, for now, seems to be Russia.
My favourite diamonds are undoubtedly the tiffany diamond from Taiwan and the purple diamond from Japan.

However, Trollbeads diamonds are not so easy to collect. Making them exclusive for a country, make them highly sought after by collectors and increases their value. Often, then, you have to seek for local "Trollfairies", who often help you in their search, in a truly Troll spirit. This happened to me, above all, for the diamonds of the Asian countries, due to the impossibility to buy them online and because of the very restrictive conditions imposed by the local stores too. For example, in the case of the Taiwanese diamond, the purchase of a bead of a minimum value of € 35.00 was compulsory, while for the Hong Kong diamond, on the other hand, it was necessary to purchase a silver bracelet with a closure of € 45,00 or a heart bangle with two stops.
The satisfaction of having completed my collection, however, is great. Now I can admire my diamonds in all their beauty. Finally, I can have fun playing with my beads.
Here below, I show you some of my compositions. My favourite bracelet is the one with tiffany diamond from Taiwan that matches well with the withdrawn pink and red prisms and the focal Ohm's Innerself. The Fairy Flamingo Diamond of Vietnam of a caramel colour stands out between two green and orange withdrawn prisms, two hessonite garnets gemstones and two green prisms. The German lavender diamond stands out between two Luminous Delight Facet of the Eastern Facet kit, two flowers from the Start Good Luck and two Ambers. Finally, a picture of a bracelet with diamonds of several countries (Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Nordic countries), that I have matched with Anemones with the same shades.
I think that diamonds are glasses that easily match and illuminate the most varied compositions with their zirconias.
